StocksBlocks is a modular solar PV array mounting system constructed from high density recycled Australian plastic with an integrated DC cabling solution. Stocks Blocks can be deployed at commercial and utility scales with options for mounting a range of different solar PV panel sizes, and are easily transportable in stacks. An indigenous owned business, Stocks Blocks also represents a solution for regional, islands and remote Indigenous communities.
Stocks Blocks is majority Indigenous owned by Carla Stocks whose heritage originates from the North West of Australia in the Kimberley Regions. We have begun initial discussions with Indigenous Business Australia
(IBA) about the product’s potential applications in remote Indigenous communities.
Daryn Stocks is Carla's husband and is heavily involved with the Australian renewable energy industry.
Corey is the Stocks Blocks Business Development Manager. Corey is a proud Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay man from the North West of New South Wales with strong connections to the Yorta Yorta Nation. He is the Indigenous driver of the Stocks Blocks company with an extensive banking sector experience. He brings a wealth of knowledge in finance and Indigenous community liaison.
Hayden Beard has been instrumental in assisting with the development of the StocksBlocks product. Hayden went through the Griffin Accelerator Program conducted by CBRIN to assist with bringing innovations to market. The Griffin Accelerator was a great experience and highly recommended for innovative entrepreneurs. Hayden still continues to assist with the products development around his busy schedule and recently becoming a father.
Special thanks also needs to be mentioned to Superior Plastechs, Rolando Sulit and Segopotso Shablano for initial design support.
